Easter weekend: Sunday 5 & Monday 6 April

Gwenola x Mokabon

Since 1960, Gwenola has been a fixture in Ghent's city center. For a short time (April 5 & 6), they are returning to their old neighborhood (Donkersteeg), and that almost feels like coming home.

Welcome on Sunday, April 5 & Monday, April 6, 2026 from 10:00 to 17:00 - Donkersteeg 35, at Mokabon - no reservation required

A Sweet Easter Reunion

During the Easter weekend, we are bringing two Ghent classics together under one roof again. On April 5 & 6, we welcome Gwenola at Mokabon for a special Easter reunion, a temporary return to where it all began, in the Donkersteeg.

No reservations, just walk in and enjoy. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Fancy a quick sweet crêpe or a savoury galette? You can enjoy it on-site (eat in) or take your pancakes to go (take out).

Expect authentic Breton pancakes from Gwenola, fresh off the griddle, combined with our slow-roasted Mokabon coffee.

Gwenola x Mokabon

Since 1960, Gwenola has been a fixture in Ghent's city center: a three-generation family business, loved for its authentic Breton pancakes. Think savory buckwheat galettes, sweet crêpes, and those iconic milkshakes that evoke pure nostalgia for many.

For a short while, they're returning to their old neighborhood—and it almost feels like coming home.

Expect a warm, festive Easter brunch where tradition, craftsmanship, and Ghent's coziness come together. The aroma of freshly baked pancakes, our slow-roasted coffee, and a touch of nostalgia hanging in the air.

Two houses with history. One table. One weekend.
